EIPL dehumidifiers are effective solutions to indoor environmental control problems. The top-rated PD range of units are all high capacity commercial grade dehumidifiers, made to operate at high efficiencies by removing moisture from the air through the refrigeration process. The fan draws the moist air through the cold evaporator coil, which cools the air below its dew point. Moisture forms on the evaporator coil and is collected in a condensate tray before draining away through the condensate tube. The cooled air then passes through the hot condenser coil where it is reheated using the same energy removed during the cooling phase, plus the additional heat generated by the compressor. The air is, therefore, discharged from the dehumidifier at a slightly higher temperature with a lower absolute humidity than that which entered. Continuous circulation of air through the dehumidifier gradually reduces the relative humidity within the area.

The PD dehumidifiers are all supplied with an internal humidistat as standard, and will operate as a stand alone portable unit, or installed into a ducted HVAC system. A remote Interface is available allowing connection to either a remote humidistat, which has voltage free contacts, or the EIPL remote touch panel which incorporates an internal humidity sensor and also facility for an external humidity sensor. This panel also provides local indication of the remote dehumidifiers status & operation. Adjustable control humidistat to maintain proper humidity levels.
